Easy Strawberry Cobbler

Strawberry Cobbler Recipe

A quick & deleicious strawberry cobbler recipe.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups chopped/halved fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup sugar - divided into 1/2
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • cups 188 grams all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons 10 grams baking powder
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Place the strawberries into a bowl & gently mix ½ cup sugar & 1 tbsp cornstarch. Put strawberries in a 9 inch baking dish.

  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and ½ cup sugar. Using a pastry blender or 2 forks, cut in ¼ cup butter until mixture is crumbly.

  4. Gradually add cream and vanilla, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Divide dough into 5 equal portions, and drop on top of cobbler (Dough will be wet.)

  5. Bake the cobbler for 25 - 35 minutes, until the top is golden and cooked through. Feel free to gently lift up the cobbler dough to make sure it is cooked through.

  6. Serve immediately
