The Couple Next Door by Shari Lapena Book Review

This book was nuts. I burned through it in 2 days & it held my attention & kept me guessing. The ending- WHAT, talk about a cliffhanger. My main issue with this story was believing it. There’s a kidnapped baby, a suspicious set of neighbors, money troubles, a lackadaisical police department & bizarre family dynamic. It turned out to be a little bit more Lifetime movie than 48 hours type of mystery for me. It was hard to keep track of all the twists & turns & who knew what.

THE VERDICT

I was Into This book. I did enjoy it, but I was glad I got it from the library instead of buying it in hardcover. I feel like everyone has read this. What are your thoughts?
