24K Magic by Bruno Mars Album Review

If you don’t live under a rock, then there’s a 99 percent chance that you’ve heard Bruno Mars’ new hit song, “24K Magic”. Just like most of his songs, it totally rocks your world or at least it rocks mine. I have already memorized the lyrics and I blast it in my car on a daily basis. I don’t know what it is, but this tune is close to perfect. It’s upbeat, smoother than good whiskey, and the music video? Seriously HOT and the clothes take you back to 1995 (I was a year old but hey, I know things)

Bruno’s new album, also titled 24K Magic is full of hits. I discovered some of these hits while drooling over his “Carpool Karaoke” session on The Late Late Show with James Corden, which I would gladly watch on a continuous loop.

Feeling like some sexy time with your significant other? “Versace on the Floor” will certainly get you hot and bothered, but don’t worry, it is totally not a hidden ad endorsing Versace (or is it?). This song is relaxing and is so far up the R&B alley that you can’t help but sway your hips a little.

It’s going to be impossible to sit still or stay quiet when you listen to “Perm.” This ballad is my go-to song when I get in the car every morning. It has a faster tempo than “24K Magic” but has just as much clever wordplay and soul. If I don’t listen to it at least once a day, someone should be concerned because I’m probably on my deathbed.

Bruno’s songs have that contagious factor and this album is certainly flu-worthy. Give it a listen and let your sexiness out you bad bitches! You won’t be disappointed. 24K Magic may be Bruno’s best work yet. If you are really Into Bruno, you’ll probably love Ed Sheeran’s newest album too.
