Frankly in Love by David Yoon

Frankly in Love by David Yoon is one of my favorite audiobooks ever. This wonderful story kept me company in my earbuds while I stained a fence for five hours. The narration is excellent. For me, the audio is definitely the way to go. The narration brings a youthful quality to the story I likely wouldn’t have gotten in the print version.

Frankly in Love by David Yoon has me laughing, crying, clutching my heart & talking to myself. I found myself on the edge of my seat waiting to see what the future holds for the young characters. I don’t read a lot of YA & this book makes me think I need to read more of the genre.

THE VERDICT

I am Really Into This book! David Yoon creates magic with Frankly in Love. I love it so much. This is a story about family, love, acceptance, friends, sacrifice & hope. It’s nestled into hilarious & believable dialogue with a whole lot of heart. No doubt, I’ll go back & read this again.
