I’m really into one of Oprah’s “Favorite Things”…
Well, I would assume it is one of Oprah’s favorite things…but more on that after I introduce myself!
Hi, I’m Jaydee! I’m new here, and a lover of life and so many things in it! Just like the authors of this blog, when I’m really into something, I like to talk about it and get everyone else loving it too. So let me tell you about something Oprah loves other than bread (#weightwatchers).
I am a huge coffee drinker. Like, don’t wake me up if it’s not on the agenda first thing. However, if I drink too much, have a roast that is too acidic, or drink it late in the day, the effects aren’t as favorable. So I’ve given tea a try, but have never been as into it. It didn’t ever have enough body and flavor to keep me interested, and not to mention the lack of caffeine in some tea (it defeats the purpose for me). So it kind of surprised me when I found a tea drink at Starbucks that actually gave me a boost AND tasted delicious. So if you want the energy without the tummy ache, jitters, or late night insomnia, try this slightly caffeinated beverage that I’ve become obsessed with.
Teavanna Oprah Cinnamon Chai Tea Latte.
What makes this chai different AND delicious?
This grande sized beverage comes with 2 Oprah Cinnamon Chai tea bags, 1/2 hot water & 1/2 steamed milk of your choice, and classic simple syrup. The way I like to doctor it up is with almond milk (it adds a little sweetness) and no classic syrup, I’m not a big fan of added sugar or dairy. As the tea bags steep the cinnamon adds a natural sweetness and full bodied flavor, and it has caffeine! The lackluster teas I had been used to can now take the back seat, because this baby is riding shotgun! Try it at your local Starbucks Coffee (if you live in the Pacific Northwest, you should have no trouble finding one).
Thank you, Oprah!

Jaydee- thank you for introducing me to this twist on the Oprah Chai Tea Latte. I get intimidated by all the crazy blends and flavorings, so I need to find a trustworthy source. I want to hear more about Chai blends & I think you’re my girl. 🙂
