The Lemon Sisters by Jill Shalvis
The Lemon Sisters by Jill Shalvis is so wonderful.
This story touches on sisterly love, returning back home, one true love and happy ever after. Worry not romance lovers, there is plenty of steam. One of the great things about The Lemon Sisters is it will not scare away non-romance readers.
Jill Shalvis is quickly going to become a go-to author for me. The Lemon Sisters makes me laugh, smile & my heart swells. I’m so grateful to have an early copy, but I purchased an autographed copy at Target. I cannot wait to read more of Jill’s books. This is everything I want when I want a light read that makes me feel good.
SISTERLY LOVE
As an only child, there is something so special about stories with sisters to me. I love the relationship between Brooke & Mindy. Thankfully, the history between both the sisters slowly builds. Jill takes her time giving readers history that’s important to the story. This way we can invest in The Lemon Sisters, but we’re not overwhelmed with unnecessary old family drama.
ONE TRUE LOVE
Oh, I love both male leads. They were masculine but not overly alpha. Each male lead allows his female counterpart to just simply be. Both Linc & Garrett are there if the women need them. Yet, they don’t jump in & “rescue”. Lovingly, they are each in the wings & provide comfort & encouragement to both women as they each work through some issues. For me and romance novels, this is so important.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: JILL SHALVIS
Jill lives with her family in a small town in the Sierras full of quirky characters (Any resemblance to the quirky characters in her books is mostly coincidental). She does most of her writing on her deck surrounded by more animals than humans. Which is quite astonishing considering she’s a city girl who was plucked from the wilds of L.A. to the wilds of the Sierra’s. Most of her books come from a combination of hard work, cookies, and hot guy pics, and not necessarily in that order.
Jill often travels to reader weekends & conventions where she LOVES getting to meet and hang-out with readers. The only problem being she tends to get lost in her hotels. So if you ever see NYTimes Bestselling author Jill Shalvis roaming the halls, someone please return her immediately.
