Deadly Manners Podcast – A Dark & Fun Murder Mystery
I’ve been Really Into my True Crime podcasts like Dirty John & Someone Knows Something. While I love both of those podcasts, I need a little humor in my life. The Deadly Manners Podcast is the perfect antidote to balance the heaviness that comes with listening to a true crime series.
Jessica & I are huge Veronica Mars fans, so when Kristen Bell is involved, I’m sold. Kristen’s Deadly Manners Podcast character is even named Veronica! Levar Burton is a perfect narrator for this series that matches dark humor with a murder mystery. Levar’s deep, melodic voice carries the story throughout the night’s many murders, accusations & secrets. The style of the Deadly Manners Podcast is similar to the much-beloved movie, Clue. Do you remember that movie?
I am Really Into The Deadly Manners Podcast. First thing, it’s funny as hell. Rupaul & Michelle Visage can make me laugh at anything. Secondly, the sound effects are unreal. I listened to this on the treadmill one day & I thought there was something wrong with the machine. Every creak, crack, hiss & knock make the podcast come to life. Last, it’s honestly a Really suspenseful story. I keep thinking I have the next victim & the killer figured out, but I’m wrong. No matter, that’s what’s makes it so fun. It’s easy to lose yourself in a mansion filled with a cast of characters who despite multiple murders are bound & determined to finish their dinner party in style.
It’s so much fun. What are you listening to right now?
