I’ve been watching these Challenges since the beginning, so no way am I stopping as we enter Season 30. There’s a TON of folks back this go around, but I’m picking my Top 5. Of course, there isn’t room for everyone in my Top 5 (sorry CT & my boy Darrell) but I think this crew is guaranteed to be some of the game’s MVPs this season. There’s a lot of AYTO folks here too.

From MTV: The most decorated Challenge champion always finds a way to use his mastery in “shady” to get the ultimate payback. The most well-known anecdote from the six-time victor’s run: After getting burned by Sarah on Battle of the Exes 2 and being subsequent partners on Rivals III, Bananas made the most devious and dirty move in Challenge history when he took all of the winnings from their No. 1 finish — and left his partner with $0. Will Bananas be able to top this unprecedented dirty move during this historic season?

We’ve got some legit Old Timers back; Aneesa , Veronica & Derek K!

From MTV: Challenge veteran Aneesa is no stranger to drama and dirty play. On Rivals, she wasted no time by saying both Laurel and Cara Maria’s names in deliberations for the first elimination, and on Rivals II, a pretty nasty scuffle erupted when Trishelle provoked her.

From MTV: Veronica is one of the original “bad girls” of The Challenge. With three wins under her belt, the Road Rules export knows how to play the game hard. She’s the queen of manipulating votes and has even encouraged her team to throw challenges in order to get rid of weak links. This old-school crème de la crème is ready to show everyone that despite her break from the series, she still has what it takes to dive deep, play dirty and sway a new generation of players to do her dastardly bidding.

Derrick K- I’m happy you’re back. He’s been one of our favorites for years!

• From MTV: Derrick is an old-school cast member, and he’s been biding his time before making his triumphant return to The Challenge. Always the scrappy little fighter, the Road Rules vet proved that he could be dirty when he was a part of the mob-like gang that double-crossed Paula on The Island. The stakes are high for Derrick, and he’s stated he will do anything to secure a W for his son — double-crossing someone included?

The Are You The One: Second Chances winner is infamous for his mind games and masterful manipulation. During Rivals III, Devin rallied his alliance to take out the most powerful vets only to later betray his team to side with the vets. Then, on Second Chances, Devin picked off his opponents one by one — and even left his perfect match Rashida wondering if she was safe. The Dirty 30 crew better be careful when making an alliance with Devin, because he will pinpoint every weakness in order to conquer the game.

WEEKLY UPDATES for MTV The Challenge XXX: Dirty Thirty

WEEK ONE: This new season started with all thirty contestants gathering at the elimination grounds.  Actually, it was only twenty-nine, because CT had a problem with his passport and was sent back to the States to resolve the issue.  Now to go along with the theme of the season, TJ Lavin is explaining the rules of the game and lets everyone know that they are competing for $350,000.  When they are actually playing to win a piece of $1,000,000.  After the introduction, the contestants run to their living ordinance for the next few weeks to their beds and conjugate.  During this time we get to see a few players explain why they are mean, backstabbing competitors.  Now in the past, Corey has gotten close to several of the ladies on the show, and now they all seem to have it out for him.  ‘Corey’ good luck bro.  The biggest bomb shell of the episode was that six contestants will get eliminated after the first challenge.  This is unprecedented and definitely raises the ante for what this season has in store for us going forward.  The first challenge was broken into three phases to weed out the bottom six.  First was a barrel roll from the bottom of a mission to the top, then the next part was a team effort to carry a cannon to its firing spot, the next was to carry a cannon ball from one area to another spot in the mission.  At the end of the challenge, Amanda, Darrell, Devin, LaToya, Shane, and Simone were automatically eliminated and sent to redemption. Looks like they will still have a chance to compete for the grand prize. This season is going to be great.

WEEK TWO: MTV The Challenge XXX: Dirty Thirty

The episode starts off with the acknowledgment of the redemption house, and these contestants are filled with joy that they are not going home.  CT arrives at the house after finally getting cleared through customs, and he is filled in on the mega elimination that occurred in the previous episode.  Briana from AYTO is also introduced to the house to replace Ashley since she quit.  Not sure what the reason is but they are really pushing the story line of Corey sleeping with serval other contestants in the past.  Maybe it will lead to something later on in the season. This weeks challenge consist of the contestant sitting on a floating bench with a backboard while the other players sling shot tomatoes to their faces.  The best part of this challenge to me is seeing Tori get upset she is being hit by tomatoes.  Johnny, CT, Derrick, Nelson, Tori, Camila, Cara Maria, and Nicole all won.  Then we get to see both Simone and Shane sent home due to a physical altercation they got into.  We did not get to see what actually happened, but did see what the aftermath was.  Shane had scratches on his face after he slapped Simone.  She broke a champagne bottle and was waving it around in a threating manner.  Devin somehow gets bit on the wrist during this whole ordeal.  The elimination vote came in and Corie and Briana will be heading into the elimination, but we will not know against who until next episode.

WEEK 3: MTV The Challenge XXX: Dirty Thirty

This episode starts off with the elimination round from episode 2.  Corie and Briana find out who they will face which happens to be Derrick and Jemmye.  Since Derrick was voted into the elimination we get to hear Tori tell us that Derrick is her man and she will have a hard time without him.  She repeated this over and over again.  When the elimination was done both Derrick and Briana are eliminated and sent to the redemption house.  Not sure when these competitors will get back in the game, but it cannot come soon enough.  This weeks challenge was a fun one as the contestants geared up in helmets and shoulder pads.  There are two teams with an equal number of men and women on each.  Dario and Britni are team captions and let’s just say that Dario did a much better job selecting the players so they could succeed.  The objective of the game is each team will run through a small tunnel and capture some rings on the opposite side of the course, then return the rings back to their starting point going through the tunnel once more.  Since Dario had the game plan to choose the biggest and strongest players on his team, they easily came out with a victory.  This is another week we did not get an elimination at the end of the show.
