The Newcomer by Mary Kay Andrews

We are thrilled to be part of The Book Club Cookbook’s Blog Party for The Newcomer by Mary Kay Andrews!

Years ago, before I even started Really Into This, I had the pleasure of meeting Mary Kay Andrews at a book event in Savannah, Georgia. I will just say this; Mary Kay is a total joy! If you read her books, I think you get e great sense of her humor & joy. She is just a total gem and I am so glad  I had the opportunity to meet her. I’m also so glad we can celebrate her newest release with a perfect cocktail (or mocktail) pairing!

Book Review: The Newcomer by Mary Kay Andrews

Amy’s Review: This book was hard to put down. I read it in two days. Letty Carnahan finds her sister dead on the floor in her NYC townhouse. Her sister made her promise months prior that if something ever happened to her, then Letty should take her daughter Maya and run away where her dad couldn’t find her. This is a gripping story of her life on the run to save her 4-year-old niece from her wealthy and narcissistic dad.
