Nespresso Machine Review
Nespresso Creatista Uno Review

I offer you my no holds barred Nespresso Creatista Uno Review. There’s nothing quite like a warm espresso & perfectly steamed milk. While I love grabbing a latte from my favorite coffee shop, my wallet gets a little light. Finally, I bit the bullet & bought a Nespresso machine with a built-in milk steamer. I am breaking down my full thoughts to help you decide if you want to get one too!

Is it worth the money?

So far, absolutely! I usually make a double shot latte every morning. The average cost for this is less than $1.50 a cup for the coffee. Factor in the milk & your total cost is well below $2.00 for a latte that would cost you upward to $5.00 at a coffee shop.

All those capsules! Isn’t that bad for the environment?

This machine & Nespresso are completely sustainable. If you’re a Nespresso customer, which you are if you buy the capsules from them. The company includes prepaid envelopes to mail the capsule back to them. The aluminum is separated and recycled and the coffee grounds are composted. Thankfully, nothing goes into a landfill. Honestly, Nespresso makes is incredibly easy to use. If mailing is not your thing, you can always drop off the capsules at your local store.

Is the coffee good?

Heck yes! Nespresso offers a ton of flavors. Some of my favorites are the Caramelito, the Vanilio & every once in a while the chocolate is nice. My standard choice is Ristretto. It’s strong & bold & I love it. If you’re close to a Nespresso store, visit often! My local store samples the new flavors daily. You can roll in the store at any time & drink a shot or two.

Do you get tired of the same coffee every day?

Is that even a question? This machine makes lattes, cappuccinos with a short, medium or long shot espresso. The possibilities & flavors are endless. If lattes are not your thing, be sure to check out Jessica’s favorite coffee machine.

Can You Do Latte Art With This Machine?

Well, that’s a difficult question to answer. Technically, I suppose you can create latte art with the Nespresso. I’ve been told by authentic baristas that the milk steamer on the machine functions a bit differently than the coffee shop beasts. While I try to pour the milk and make a leaf or a heart, it’s minimal at best.

Did You Get Paid for This Nespresso Creatista Uno Review?

Heck no. I paid for this machine with my own money. Luckily, I caught a sale at my Nespresso store. Find your local store here.

Should I Get the Creatista Uno or the Creatista Plus?

While I opted for the non-digital display, you may opt for the Creatista with the digital display. It’s roughly the same machine, but in stainless steel with a digital display. While I really liked the machine, I can’t justify spending $200 additional dollars for it.

What Do You Like Most About the Machine?

My favorite thing about the Nespresso is that it is easy to use & looks slick as hell. Clean-up is non-existent. The coffee is sustainable. Best yet, no more late night runs to the store for creamer. For me, that’s the best thing. As long as I keep my capsules stocked, I’m good to go for my coffee in the morning.

THE VERDICT

I am Really Into This Nespresso Creatista Uno! Obviously, if my opinion changes, I will update this post. But, so far, so good! What kind of coffee maker do you have?
