Oh, I just love Only When It’s Us by Chloe Liese so much! Lovable characters who communicate, deal with grief, have their own dreams & more. Honestly, if all young adult books had characters and storylines like this, I would be all for it!

Willa is great. She’s dealing with a lot & she’s easy to root for. That’s not to say that she is perfect. She’s guarded with a strong exterior.

Ryder grows on me like a weed. Initially, I am like, NOPE. Then as soon as we get to know him, I am all on. He’s attentive, kind, thoughtful & honest. I fell head over heels for him. I loved getting to know his family & I can’t wait for Book 2 in the Bergman Brothers series.

Chloe Liese is just amazing. She writes characters who are differently-abled, going through challenging times and she addresses these aspects with care & authenticity. Chloe’s writing just envelops you.

THE VERDICT

I love Only When It’s Us by Chloe Liese & highly recommend it to all my romance and non-romance lovers. It’s heartwarming, wonderful & makes me smile. There are definitely some open door scenes in this one!
