    MTV The Challenge: Total Madness

MTV The Challenge: Total Madness Well, we’re back with Season 35 of MTV The Challenge: Total Madness. In the past, I’ve recapped The Challenge before. This show just keeps drawing me back. After a little lull for me, last season had me so pumped with all the drama. Let’s do it. MTV The Challenge: Total Madness Episode 1 Challenge: Pull a barrel with a rope, then onto a puzzle. Then, pull another barrel while TJ is trying to run over the barrels with a tank. Winners: Rogan & Jenny Tribunal: Rogan & Jenny select Cory. They select Kyle, Wes & Jay for elimination. The house votes in Asaf. Hook-Ups &…

BH90210 Anyone that knows me knows that I am a FAN of Beverly Hills, 90210.  My obsession started in elementary school when I was arguing with my mom that “Donna Martin Graduates” was the right thing (I now see my mom’s side – Donna broke the rules and shouldn’t graduate – I get it mom). I had the Kelly, Donna and Dylan dolls. And then I watched the episodes in syndication in the 90’s.  I ate it up with a spoon every day when I came home from school. I became obsessed with Donna and David’s relationship, Valerie being evil, and Kelly being even worse than her.  My friends and…

I get their e-mail updates & at least 1/3 of them are about Riverdale. Tired of missing out on the party, I jumped into Riverdale a few weeks ago. I was hooked from the first episode. Beware the Slenderman & Witness

Beware the Slenderman & Witness Beware the Slenderman currently on HBO On Demand The Witness currently available on PBS I’m Really Into trash TV; Real Housewives, Are You The One & the Teen Mom, but I’m also Really Into documentaries & this week I watched Beware the Slenderman & Witness. Beware the Slenderman True crime lovers will drool over both of these & likely are already familiar with the cases. Beware the Slenderman focuses on 2 pre-teen girls who were sucked into the Internet myth, Slenderman. This documentary focuses on the inception of the myth of Slenderman, a pale faceless tall creature who stalks & tortures children. It seems that people all…

Really Into This: Looking Back at 2016

Really Into This: Looking Back at 2016 Sarah: 2016 was a hell of a year. Jessica: I actually sent this picture to Sarah – I am definitely ready to have 2016 in the rear view mirror. Sarah: For me, it was the year of discovering a love of audiobooks, saying goodbye to Downton Abbey, sobbing over George Michael, giving into Hallmark, searching for the perfect flannel PJs & creating a slumber party room in my house. Jessica: Ahh Downton Abbey,  I miss that show too.  2016 was filled with a few books, new and old TV shows, hanging out in wine country, Tim Duncan’s retirement, fun new recipes and the…

    The Great American Baking Show

UPDATE: What a finale. Congratulations to Amanda for winning The Great American Baking Show! From the first episode, I pegged her to win. She was cool, calm & collected & I’m still dreaming about her bread wreath. Stephanie was amazing as well. I really loved her baking style & her love for baking really shows. On to next season! UPDATE: My girl, Jennie was eliminated, so that brings us into the Finale with Amanda & Stephanie. Both these ladies are star bakers in my eyes. I cannot wait for the Finale. I wish they could both get it. It will be a pastry cage match, according to Amanda. <3 Currently…

    Crazy Ex-Girlfriend

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Premiered October 12, 2015 on the CW My mom kept telling me to watch this show.  At one point last year I finally gave in, but realized I would have to pay to start from the beginning, so I let it go.  Then one day when I was browsing Netflix I saw it there, Season 1 of My Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, & I decided it was time to give it a try. This show is so good!  I love just about every part of it.  It’s quirky & fun and there is lots of singing and dancing! Within two weeks I had watched the entire first season & I want to…

    Fall TV 2016

Fall TV 2016 This space is not just for books. I’m really into books, especially in the fall, but I love me some TV too. I’ve found some good ones this season, but I’m not particularly crushing on anything in particular. American Horror Story: Roanoke – So I’m a few episodes in & I’m not hooked, but I’m determined to stick it out. The premise of Roanoke is frightening enough & I LOVE Sarah Paulson. If you have not seen the FX series The People vs. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story, then please watch it. I loved it so much – especially the Marcia, Marcia, Marcia episode. Sarah Paulson clinched the…
